wine users - Jun 2010 - Perfect World running slow on ubuntu linux 9.1

I have the game installed and updated got past most the issues that most people
post but when i try to run the game it runs at maybe 5-10% what it would run on
windows. When i look up the guides that other people have done they say theirs
runs at 95-100% the speed of windows. If you have any idea i would greatly
appreciate hearing them.

i also forgot to mention that i notice some color distortion from what im used
to in windows if that gives ne hints
