wine users - May 2010 - Applications->Wine->Programs missing in Ubuntu karmic

wine version: wine-1.0.1
OS: Ubuntu karmic 9.10

I installed wine by doing "sudo aptitude install wine". I then
successfully installed a windows program.

[kurt at desktop:~]$  wine SetupRegexBuddy3kurtkrueckeberg.exe

But I don't see the Programs menu item under Applications->Wine. What do
I need to do?  Thanks, Kurt

Upgrade Wine. 1.0.1 is very old.

ok, thanks. I download and install the version from the website rather than use
the Ubuntu package.
