wine users - Jul 2009 - Wine 1.0.1 (Ubu 9.04) + Dan Elwell's Broadband Speedtest = Error 13 : Type Mismatch.

Hi,
sorry if this is a repost, but may be that GMANE didn't pick up the original
article yet (sent yesterday).

I wanted to try to start the http://www.broadbandspeedtest.net program under
Wine 1.0.1 (shipped with Ubu J. 9.04).
The program in question is a shareware, free download, paid to get extended
functionality, EULA.

With winetricks I have installed : VBRUN6 (required), OLE2, ODBC(required).

I have got a debug log (+relay,+seh,+tid) resulting in 135MB text file
(bzip'd
to 2.6M) :

(CAUTION it inflates to 135 MegaBytes!)

Unfortunately I'm not experienced enough in analyzing these - anybody

Got a response from Austin English : "Try upgrading to 1.1.26."

I tried, and the result is the same - by means of Error 13 message. Will produce

a debug trace and post it whenever I get 15 minutes of time.
