Im trying to run bf2142 and im still getting original cd error plesae any ideas to help me/ tnak you

i made all fro appdb - was not working - solved cd problem with this solution http://ubuntu-utah.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=723603&highlight=2142 now i dont have mouse cursor in the game
