Got this strange error: receiving incremental file list rsync: opendir "/.~tmp~" (in <sender-module>) failed: Permission denied (13) IO error encountered -- skipping file deletion rsync: opendir "/path/.~tmp~" (in <sender-module>) failed: Permission denied (13) invalid multi-message 22:4 [sender/inc] *************************************** rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (34741 bytes received so far) [receiver] What I find strange is the "invalid multi-message" line. The origin/sender is 3.1 HEAD-20091127-0430GMT and the receiver is 3.0.6 (which produced the above log). Is it an incompatibility? It *seems* to happen only when there are permission denied cases. Anyway, the receiver shouldn't have aborted.

I've tweaked the 3.1.0 code to not complain about receiving that, and made sure that it is only forwarding the message from the receiver to the generator.
