R help - Nov 2002 - R.1.6.1 under mandrake

Dear all, 

 I'm new to Linux. I have recently installed R 1.6.1, with rpm,
under Mandrake 9.0. but where can I find a dependence libg2c.so.o?

rpmfind.net

There you will find almost any rpm package available for your system.

Mine is installed in /usr/lib. I don't remember which of the Mandrake 9.0
disks
it is on, but I'm pretty sure it is on one of them.

You need package libf2c0-3.2-1mdk, PLEASE DON'T look for it on rpmfind.
All you need to do is, as root, write:

urpmi libf2c0

and the system  will ask for the relevant installation CD.
